This was the picture on my Facebook page today. I must stand on my soapbox-how can people be such cruel beings. How can they just toss a living being-animal or human- to the side, to the wind, out the car, or however, and then live with it. It takes a deep darkness within a person who is this neglectful and cruel to another being.

Hard to believe that this is the same cat in both photos, isn't it? Adonis was in terrible shape before receiving life-saving veterinary care. The sad truth is that there are many, many more pets out there who - like Adonis - are in desperate need of medical attention. The Adopt-a-Pet.com Veterinary Care Fund helps homeless pets like Adonis by providing grants to animal shelters and rescues in need. This funding helps them to save lives!
